The next international Libralex conference will take place on June 9 and 10, 2023. The venue of the summer meeting will be Amsterdam, hosted by the Dutch Libralex member law firm Bergh Stoop & Sanders.

During the conference days, the agenda will traditionally be determined by the exchange of information on current legal developments in the respective jurisdictions, by exclusive lectures and insights. Other topics on the agenda will be strategic discussions on, among other things, existing international cooperatives and initiatives and the further expansion of the worldwide activities. Working group meetings are scheduled both within the Digital and Dispute Resolution Working Group and across practice areas and working groups. One focus of this Libralex conference will be art law.

Mr. Wayne Modest, Professor at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam of Material Culture and Critical Heritage Studies and Director of the National Museum of World Cultures (NMVW) in Amsterdam, is expected as guest speaker. Gert Jan van den Bergh and Martha Visser of Bergh Stoop & Sanders will give a legal introduction on the Dutch colonial looted art policy.

We are looking forward to the Libralex conference, the get-together and exchange with the member law firms of the Libralex network!
