Dispute Resolution Group

Welcome to the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Working Group section of the Libralex website.

Here you will find information about the Group, our projects, and publications in this section.

The purpose of the ADR Working Group is:

  • to provide international arbitration, mediation, and other dispute resolution services to clients globally.

We do this by:

  • providing an ADR specialist in the relevant country; and
  • our ADR specialists working together to resolve international disputes.

The process can:

  • use dual or multiple languages;
  • be country neutral; and
  • be respectful of cultural differences.

If you are interested in resolving a dispute using ADR please get in touch either with the member in the relevant country or the Chair of the Group, Rebecca Attree.

ADR – Publications:

Libralex law firms provide commercially minded legal representation to clients including international businesses, public authorities, and private individuals, and offer clients the advantage of immediate access to cross-border, strategic, and legal advice from law firms across the network.

Clients of Libralex law firms benefit from local representation with international reach.

We wish to make known the adoption by the Human Rights Council of the resolution of 19 June 2017 on the independence and impartiality of the judiciary, jurors and assessors, and the independence of lawyers, particularly the threats, intimidation and interference, the number of attacks on lawyers in the course of discharging their defense mandate. The Council stresses that lawyers must not be compared with their clients or to the cause of their clients by the performance of their duties and that they must be able to perform their duties freely, independently, and without fear.

What we can do for you

Dispute Resolution

Individual legal requirements in the areas of arbitration, mediation, and dispute resolution are identified and processed in consideration of the respective national and international challenges as well as in compliance with the generally upheld values of trust and reliability.

International Trade

All law firms that are part of our network are in permanent exchange of information about all important developments in international commercial law and about the specific legal requirements and adaptations within each country in which a partner law firm is located and entrusted with the mandate. This ensures that our clients’ international legal questions are always answered comprehensively and in the best possible way, based on comprehensive expertise, on a permanent or ad hoc basis.

Investments

Our Investments Working Group supplies combined knowledge for international investment consulting to  clients all over the world. Due to the permanent exchange of expertise and continuous exchange on current jurisdiction, advice on international investments is provided on the basis of the most current legal situation in each of the nationally and internationally involved countries, realised by investment specialists locally and internationally.
