Last weekend, the third international Libralex conference of this year took place in Budapest, Hungary. This year’s autumn meeting was hosted by our Hungarian Libralex member law firm Szecskay Attorneys at Law.
Almost 40 participants from more than 20 countries attended the conference. On Friday, the focus was on M&A topics and AI in various contexts, including the energy sector in Hungary and M&A projects related to this, the latest legal tech trends in law firms in Europe and beyond and the application of the CISG on contracts for machinery containing software and/or Artificial Intelligence. On Saturday, and among others, reports from the Libralex working groups were presented and discussed in the strategy meetings, including one from the corporate working group on current and planned projects. Also, the newest Libralex member law firm was given a warm welcome: Banai Azriel Stern Law Firm, Israel. An extensive side program provided Libralex representatives and members the opportunity to further discuss topics from the conference and also to exchange ideas personally.
We would like to thank our Hungarian member law firm Szecskay Attorneys at Law for organizing an all-round successful Libralex conference, which gave us the best conditions for professional and personal discussions in a great atmosphere and a wonderful setting. We would also like to thank all speakers and participants for their fantastic contributions, exclusive insights and valuable assessments from many different international jurisdictions and perspectives. We would also like to thank all those who followed our conference on LinkedIn.
We are already looking forward to the next international Libralex conference. It will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark, in February 2025.
